Hynautic H-50 Hydraulic Helm Pump – SeaStar Replacement
The Hynautic H50 compact hydraulic boat steering helm was discontinued by SeaStar but you can purchase this direct replacement Bundle.
This is a bundle arranged by Seatech Marine Products with SeaStar parts, it is not a Dometic SeaStar part number.
What’s included:
- 1x HH5273-4 – 2.0 Cu.In Displacement – 3/4″ Taper Shaft
- 1x HA5418 – Back Mount Kit
- 1x HA5432 – Non-vent plug (included with helm)
- 1x HF6012 – -5 ORB Male x 1/4″ Female NPT (1 kit, x3 fittings)
How it Works:
- The Hynautic H-50 is a hydraulic steering helm that displaces 2.0 cubic inches of steering fluid.
- The SeaStar helm pump HH5273-4 also displaces 2.0 cubic inches of fluid but you need other parts to make sure it fits the same hole in your dash and functions the same.
- The HA5418 back mount allows the SeaStar helm pump to take the same space as the H-50.
- The H-50 is usually used in a pressurized system, we need 1 of the HA5432 SeaStar non vented plugs to make sure we don’t have oil leaking out of a vented cap of the SeaStar HH5273-4.
- Lastly, the HF6012 adapter fittings will allow you to use your current fittings that connect your your hydraulic hoses.
